Lentil Burger

Description

A burger patty made with lentils.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Soak the lentils in water for 12 hours. Drain and discard the water.
  2. Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil for 1 minute. Add the salt, oregano, pepper, soaked lentils, and water. Once boiling, cook for 10 minutes, until the water has almost evaporated.
  3. Let it cool slightly and blend the lentils in a food processor or blender, without water, until you get a paste. Add the oat flour and blend a little more.
  4. Transfer to a serving bowl and stir in the cilantro and chives. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the oats to absorb the water.
  5. Grease a glass baking dish with a little oil. Shape into 8 burgers and bake in a preheated oven at 280°C for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through.
