Soak the lentils in water for 12 hours. Drain and discard the water.
Sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil for 1 minute. Add the salt, oregano, pepper, soaked lentils, and
water. Once boiling, cook for 10 minutes, until the water has almost evaporated.
Let it cool slightly and blend the lentils in a food processor or blender, without water, until you get a
paste. Add the oat flour and blend a little more.
Transfer to a serving bowl and stir in the cilantro and chives. Let sit for 15 minutes to allow the oats
to absorb the water.
Grease a glass baking dish with a little oil. Shape into 8 burgers and bake in a preheated oven at 280°C
for 20 minutes, turning them halfway through.
